My Natural Wave

Christmas Eve I worked a short day, so I opted to wear my Gingerdead sweater (Sourpuss Clothing) as well as letting my hair be in its natural wavy state. I would tend to not wear my hair wavy, because when it was shorter it was unruly and would look....well, odd. Now with a longer length I decided to use my diffuser attachment on my blow dryer, a little styling cream and with the aid of 'scrunching' my hair. Voila! I really like that I have another styling option.

I just got my hair trimmed and my new growth bleached, so I think next time I let the waves be free (Hehe!) I think it will look that much better. I can't believe it's been over two months since I had my hair done. The Overtone Silver Weekly treatment has really been helping me to extend the length between hair appointments.

Wearing; gingerdead sweater (Sourpuss Clothing), skirt (was a dress), leather engineer boots (Target), candy cane pin (vintage), earrings (the pumpkin coven)

Do you have naturally wavy or curly hair and what sort of styling advice do you have for me?

Thank you for reading, until next time!

  2. I usually just wear my hair in a ponytail. I need to come up with more styling options.

My hair... I don't wanna talk about it. I'm having a bad hair year. XD

  4. I recently subscribed your blog via email (which is something I rarely do) and I'm so glad I did! I love your style! That gingerbread jumper is so wonderfully kitsch!

  5. I like your hair both ways!
Mine's wavy, too. I used to fight against mine and straighten it, but then I had a moment of clarity and decided to leave it be. Not that it matters now that I have very short hair again, but when it grows back, I'll probably allow it to go wavy.

    1. Thank you! I like having options and I understand that sometimes we just have to let our hair 'be', especially for its health.
