Le Professeur Gothique Monthly Homework Assignment: Ice and Snow, Oh my!

What a perfect day to give Le Professeur Gothique's homework assignment a try as it's a very snowy Saturday afternoon in Buffalo, NY. Inspired by reading the 1920s Snow and Ice theme, the idea of wearing my white and black sequin vintage hat popped into my head, I've never had a chance to wear it until now.

I've been neglecting wearing pieces from my hat collection as I now have a mohawk and well, I don't have much hair to attach anything too. *Wink* I paired the hat with cameo earrings from Target for $5, vintage rhinestone collar, and a long strand of lovely beads picked up for $3.
Since I don't own a lot of white anything, I decided to focus on the 1920s part of the assignment and I was thinking of warmth while I watched the dancing flakes outside my window. I have on my vintage FAUX fur coat and little white gloves to pick up the white in the hat. The coat is a project I've been meaning to work on, those gold buttons need to go!
I often feel a little flapperish when I wear this dress, I love the ruffles and the little lace detailing at the bottom of the skirt. I paired the dress with a lace stocking by Leg Avenue which are $10, a little pricey for me, yet wash (in a lingerie bag!) and wear beautifully. My little oxford shoes were purchased on ebay for $5, I can't resist a bargain!
Little flapper dance for the camera!
Well, I know my homework is a little late, but I had a lot of fun doing it! Keep warm friends, while I stare out into the icy snow covered streets.

XOXO-Meagan Kyla
